Miley Cyrus Is Britney Spears No. 2 Only for Photo Scandal?

If you don’t know Miley Cyrus Photo Scandal, you must have been from Mars. Since the Miley Cyrus incident is hot now. Brilliant and Artistic does not apply to 15 year olds in half nude pictures.

1. I believe this whole thing is blown out of proportion. The pic isn’t even that good, and personally, I don’t think it’s racy in the least. It doesn’t even look like her.

2. Don’t forget - Miley is 15 years old and has parents and her publicist with her all the time. She didn’t make the decision to take this photo - adults did. When working with one of the most famous celeb photographers in the world with your parents around, as a kid, you trust that they will make decisions in your best interest.

She’ll still have her fans and her millions and millions years from now. There’s no Britney - Lindsay - Paris here at all.

Oh yeah….The difference between Cyrus and those listed above is that she actually has talent. Give her a break!

Ol’ Billy Ray and Momma were at the shoot and never raised their concerns, but now, after a little bad publicity, THEY ARE HORRIFIED! The pictures are artistic, not pornographic, and had they been in the least bit offensive to the Cyrus family, they would have stopped the shoot. Good publicity for all, as their names were all spelled correctly.

If you look at pictures that were taken while she was doing the shoot, Miley was not completely naked and it gives a different look at the pictures. Because then you know what really went on. But I think that she is still too young to do photos like this and her parents should not have allowed it. However, they are human and will probably make a bunch more mistakes. I think that if the magazine or the photographer had any morals they would not put these in the magazine.
Vanity Fair’s website got 4 million hits yesterday.

Don’t you think this controversy was pre-meditated in the name of commerce?

I highly doubt that Miley Cyrus will ever turn out like that Spears train wreck. There can’t be that many self-absorbed parents looking to exploit all of their offspring like that Spears Clan does, this photo shoot notwithstanding…..

No one is arguing whether the pictures are beautiful. Miley is a beautiful young woman.

However, the pictures ARE INAPPROPRIATE and in FOUL TASTE and designed by the photographer to have SEX APPEAL.

That is the problem. Miley, recognizes that now.

Everyone should demand that Vanity Fair be taken off the shelves of their local stores in protest to the sleezy way they are now beginning to conduct themselves.

You’d think it was Penthouse or something.

I don’t think the pics are provocative at all. WHAT exactly is the problem?

To get the full effect, you need to listen to “Achy Breaky Heart” while looking at the photos.

Then you cry.

We are witnessing a new “Brittney Spears” Young Miley Cyrus is evolving and upon reaching maturity will take her rightful place in the tabloids. She has been created and this image she has of youthful innocence is nothing but skillful marketing.

Her parents are a huge part of the problem along with those who seek to promote this kind of behavior in young girls. The Genie is out of the bottle and it is doubtful we can get it bottled up again.

You will be seeing more of this child in the future once she has been elevated to an adult with absolutely no understanding of normal society. She will be a mess just like all of the others who have come before her. What a legacy.

And she wasn’t fully ‘nude’ it’s called implied. Though the photo is a beautiful photo, as a photographer myself I have to question the age of the model regardless of signed parental releases etc.

Get your mind out of the gutter folks, this a brilliant artistic photo by one of the worlds best photographers. Nude is not always lewd, if you think it is provacative examine your own mind as to why.

I am not buying for one minute that her parents didn’t know what was going on. Her Dad has been involved in every aspect of this girls career since the day she came out. But he is missing from this ONE day? Give me a break.

They knew exactly what they were doing when they sat down to take pictures with Ms. Leibovitz. She’s known for taking provocative pictures.

The shots of Miley and her Dad are just plain creepy.

On a photographic level, it is a beautiful picture…
On a moral level, well…..
Annie Liebovitz is one of the best in the business, and for her, the subject and art of the picture is the important part…
On the other hand ….where were Miley’s people? or her Father?

you would think a photographer of Ms. Lebovits’ renowned fame and her expierence in the field.. she would have known better. Vanity Fair is not a mag for a 14 year old to read never mind pose in it! Shame on you all!!!!!

it might be “brilliant and artistic”… but that’s what the New Port Richey dude thought when he pasted kids heads on porn, too.
